An Observational Study on Treatments Used in Orthopaedic Patients

Abstract: Objectives: This research aimed to assess and evaluate pharmacotherapy nonpharmacotherapy treatments in orthopaedic disorders. Methods: was a prospective observational study which performed on 122 subjects the department. Study assessed evaluated by suitable statistical tools. Results: The maximum age distribution seen more than 50 years old. Most of diagnosed with 34.5% arthritis frequently prescribed drugs were analgesics, opioid’s, NSAID’s, anti-inflammatory, calcium supplements, Vitamin mineral supplements. In this treatment, non-pharmacotherapy advised along pharmacotherapy. Among subjects, 85.2% shown have “Recovered”, 71.3% recovery rate observed adherence both compared individual therapies. study, 142 potential drug-drug interactions monitored their comorbidity conditions. Conclusion: reveals that due an increase age, changes lifestyle habits lead bone-related problems, further difficulty doing daily activities. majority issues management include nonpharmacotherapy. Therefore, it is necessary adhere improve quality life living. We can reduce incidence advising people do regular exercise balanced diet, exposure sunlight helps strengthen bones muscles.
